Cluttered backgrounds in Fashion Shoots.

I am trying something different in my last 5 fashion shoots and would appreciate some discussions. I have been working on fashion shoots set in the location of Leith in Scotland. Although I have shot here many times before, it is difficult to identify the location and the background is always tidied up too to remove any litter etc. This time round I decided to keep identifying landmarks, signs in place to see if it compromised the images that much. I felt the excitement of saying, I know that place in addition to seeing a gorgeous girl there would be a winner.
I do understand that most of the viewers here have never been to Leith so you will have to open your mind up to this one and picture the same shoot in an area where you live etc.
