Exciting news, I was recently commissioned to take images to demonstrate Canons latest DSLR the 650D, it was all a bit last minute with two guys flying over from Singapore with the camera at only 2 days notice. I had to shoot a huge range of images from night scenes, to sports, macro and yes you guessed it - my frogs Smile, all in the space of 4 days.
The images are to be used to advertise the 650D across Asia and Indonesia from the end of June, in magazines, online, on billboards etc. Canon have been choosing which of the images they want used this last week, ready for publication in Asia at the end of June, as its only release then in Asia.
This is one of the images they are thinking of using, taken using the cameras wonderful handheld night scene function - have to say I LOVED this funtion. Sorry about the swirly bit, but Im only allowed to use this version for now.

I dont have more of those images to share with you just yet, but I did take a couple of sneaky images with my 60D along the way. This is the lovely Gabriella from Brazil who helped me out with a quick last minute unplanned portrait shoot at only a couple of hours notice. Unfortunately I had no modifiers for my flash with me, as I was not intending shooting portraiture at this point, so one bare off camera flash was used. I know she is a bit too central in this one, but it was more of a grab shot with my own camera between using the new one.

And another sneaky one taken on my 60D - shutter speed 1/8 - without a tripod as Londons security guards were being over zealous!
