I have a Fuji S602Zoom, and want to increase the storage capacity. I have been using smartmedia, but want to now use CompactFlash.
I understand this camera uses TypeII, and Fuji can only recommend TypeII, but am I correct in thinking TypeI will also work? Is TypeI reliable in this situation (ie larger slot?)
Many thanks in advance for any help.

The 602 can use CF type 1, but not all makes and models. I have seen a list of the recommended and non-recommended types somewhere. I will see if I can find it for you and post the address.
Haven't found the specific reference yet but this should help answer your question:
www.finepix.nl/memcards/, Phil this is the reference I was looking for. Hope it helps solve you query, Brian
Thanks for your help Brian. Greatly appreciated
Glad to have been able to help :>))
Ooops, I did not know only certain ones were ok! I currently use a Jessops CF card and a dane-elec CF card with no problems so I assume they are ok makes, but I know some cards vary in read/write speeds.
