    ...to

Bob Garrigus for winning landscapes category of Digital Camera Photographer of the Year 2007

    and

Stephen Emerson for winning the 2nd place of the landscape category (photo not in this pf) and also one highly commended (This one)

The magazine this month is well worth buying, with a booklet of all the stunning winning photos.

Congrats! Perhaps this thread should be continued each time an EPZ'er wins an award. Then we can look back and see who's won or if we have missed anything.

Anybody notice a trend towards more and more EPZ'ers getting awards and/or being published? I don't think it is a coincidence, or can be chalked up to there simply being more members now. I think we are all improving much faster than the general population of photographers because of the environment here.

    Any thoughts?

I know mine has improved because of the portfolios on here, quite often see names or images in magazines that i know are on here and makes me glad they are on my site so to speak.

Well done to both of you & well done to all the other EPZers who've won competitions & had work published.
Seems you can't open a camera mag these days without seeing a familiar name Smile
EPZ is certainly a great place for information & inspiration!
