Some very well deserved Congratulations are in order for ePHOTOzine member " KathyW " .....

Kathy has won the 2009, Amateur Photographer Of The Year competition.

Over tha last 4 years Kathy has attained 2 x 3rd and a 4th place results.

Knowing Kathy fairly well , I know she is the last person who would consider blowing her own trumpet, She is a humble person by nature, She is also her own fiercest critic.

Well done old girl......

Just seen the results...really well done Kathy, you must be so pleased, and rightly so..congratulations!

Congrats to Sean Slevin also, who came a close second and won the final round.

I managed to scrape 5th place, which gave me encouragement to enter again next year!

Couldn't have done it without the help & support from all you good people on here!

Congrats to Sean & Phil too I haven't seen the mag yet, so I'm not sure how close it was at the finish but Sean certainly got me worried towards the end of the year!
I spotted a few other familiar names in the shortlists too, so a pretty good year for EPZ in this competition

Oh well, coffee break over now... another three stables to muck out, it's a hard life being famous...
