    I looked again at this and it seems like, for whatever reason, the Windows version of Elements 8 Organiser doesn't support metadata templates. It does seem possible within Elements 8 itself (editor), but then you presumably lose the advantage of being able to batch edit. The Mac version apparently shipped with Bridge, which enables this facility.

    No...there is no File...write keyword tag.... in the Elements 8 Files.
