Good luck any ePHOTOzine members who've entered this year's competition and managed to get in the top 12 - 57000 entries short listed to 3000 in just 8 hours! Knowing how long it takes to shortlist ECs each week I find that quite interesting. What do you think of the shortlist? I really liked the duck chasing off the bird of prey.

Just seen them. Personally I would go for the duck and osprey.

Not sure it is what people en-masse will vote for though. Cute normally wins.

Good luck to all 12.

Based on the beauty of the British countryside I go for The Dell

Duck & Osprey for me too

To be honest, since one of the posters above won the overall contest, I haven't been that impressed with the selections (not the quality I might add)

The Badger one a year or so ago was good, but it seems to me they are trying to appease the masses (compact cameras, Androids etc;etcWink

I am possibly biased, because there is one of the presenters these days, that I haven't the time of day for

The duck and Osprey (sounds like a pub!) for me too! Something not often seen - right place, right time! Smile

The only contests I sometimes enter are the ones where you just enter your name, and there's a draw. However, recently I have been sent invitations to enter by some of the businesses I use, but they all require a membership in Facebook.Tongue

Feeding Frenzy or Fulmars Roost on Ancient Rocks. But then I am pushed towards the artistic side of things. I really like those two. Huge improvement on last year's efforts.
