One hard light behind? Should I use a snoot or grid?

I would say top lit (beauty dish?), hard rim lights from side and behind, soft fill from front, comped into a pre-drawn/shot and heavily editedbackground.
Different edits for different links.
Ahhh, didn't spot that top light. Won't need it for the middle linked one so might try that one first, I like the dramatic look. Thanks Nev.
Glad you like the posters, the movie apparently sucks.
really? I thought I heard good thing about it
From an 11yr old maybe ?
Its got Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in, so suck cannot be an adjective associated with this movie.
I have an idea for a promo shot with this lighting...
Cole, you might like this.... doggy themed, instead of a gun and metallic hand... a dog toy and a lead or something. Me looking like Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. Well, the lighting will be kind
Quote: the movie apparently sucks.
More than Cole in a novelty willy-shaped straw factory. It stinks.
Willy shaped straws that is, rather than willy shaped factories.
No. No. No. It can't stink. I'm working my way through the Dollars Trilogy at the moment, really into my cowboys, and I am always always into aliens. This will be a magical meeting of genres. With Daniel Craig. Not a willy shaped straw in sight.
We went to go and see Super8 but they cancelled it to squeeze more showings of The Inbetweeners in, which was sold out, so we had to see Cowboys and Aliens instead.
AWFUL film, seriously awful.
That is a shame we enjoyed Super 8 old B movie meets ET. I was thinking about taking the family to Cowboys and Aliens. the trailer for Apollo 18 also looked good, but reviews are even worse.
Gridded strip lights on either side(flagged or similar to negate glare) will give full length rim lighting, and a large 2m octobox ( or similar sized parabolic bounce brolly) behind tog, for low fill light.
