    Hi Guys,

I am interested in getting my own website with my own domain name. I can't build them myself so need something like 'clickpic' i guess.
Can you advice on the cheapest and best place to use!!

    Thanks, Ollie

clickpic are OK, I used to use them myself and you can register your own domain with them. It and the other alternatives are relatively expensive.
Its not much harder to register your own domain and then build your own site with modern software. if you can use a web browser and a wordprocessor you can do it yourself.

    Clickpic Or Photium........Look no further.

    Or make your own....Checkout " Dreamweaver ".

Personally I'd go down the Clickpic or Photium route, Far less hassle.........Smile

You could look at using jalbum to create your site - it is free.

Defo try Photium.com they have come on really well since I have started using them. They have introduced slide shows on the home page and have other helpful tools as well.

    Have a look here bhp-images.com

Wordpress is good if you aren't selling online - fairly easy to set up, very easy to use, easily customised and FREE

Ok, I was afraid you were going to say that. Somebody else will doubtless chime in with a suggestion for a free/cheap web development program - Dreamweaver is the obvious choice, but its rather expensive for a single use like this.
On a mac I would have suggested rapidweaver, but it doesn't exist for windows.
Can someone else suggest something appropriate?

I use Serif Webplus 10. I find it's a good program for the price.

I am quite interested in the software now Serif Webplus looks good, but where should i go to get a domain name? Do i need to just buy a standard domain or those ones with storage bits etc?

    Hi
I use Streamline.net. They host my website for my Cyprus apartment. If you buy 2 years they give you free domain I think. Check out their website at http://www.streamline.net

If you want to view what I have done with Webplus10 you can look at http://www.thinkcyprus.co.uk
