Anyone know where I can get one of the Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home bags in the UK. All the searches I keep coming up with either point to the U.S. or they stock every one except the "million dollar" series.

    Thanks

    Ian

the reason you can't find one Ian is that Crumpler ranges are country specific. I believe the 6MDH is only sold in the US. We have bags too that the Americans have never heard of.

If you want a 6MDH then eBay may be the best option

I am quite sure they don't call them Million Dollar home in the UK.
Have a look at http://www.crumpler.co.uk and see what they have.

If memory serves me right they are called "Pretty Boy" here in the UK, mind you my memory usually get it wrong....

With a name like '6 Million Dollar' you wonder how they manage to sell any.... mind you, some would feel uneasy about going into a shop and asking for a 'Pretty Boy'..... Wink

Amazon have a whole range of Crumpler bags.

They definitely call the ranges by different names in different countries, caused no end of confusion when my dad went looking for one the same as mine, and he couldn't find one anywhere by the name I had on mine, although both were purchased/to be purchased in the UK. There are a few sites here that seem to import them from the US and sell them on, and so use the US names.

Thanks for your help folks. I cannot see the 6 Million Dollar Home selling anywhere in the UK. As suggested, it certainly looks very similar to the Pretty Boy range (these are really weird names but very catchy too!).
Now I think I know where to look Smile

While the crumpler bags are ok - the stupid names and different ranges accross the world make it very hard work when buying one!!

I have a "The Daily" (can't remember the size) thats a bit small - but the next one up is huge...... Part of the reason it's too small, is that its a bag within a bag, and its just full of padding, it looks big, but inside its not.

The Crumpler 6 Million Dollar has a handle on the top - The Pretty boy does not - not the same bag!!!
Im quite interested too - as my "The Daily" is too small - but the next one up is huge.

    Might help you...

If you live in/near London, there is a Jacobs(?) with a big Jessops opposite on New Oxford Street, quite a good selection there. Interestingly between purchasing the original crumpler bag-that’s-too-small and going back the other week, Jessops no longer seem to sell the crumpler range.

Speedgraphic have a good selection -But also no longer seem to sell Crumpler??, but to confuse you more, they have many other brands eg Kata!!! Speedgraphic
Failing that look on eBay, Amazon US, Morris, or second hand dealers such as Ffordes

This Lowepro is also similar - stupid frames won’t link properly – but Bag
    Big list

Good luck. It's hard work 'innit' It's not like they are even cheap either! Still on the lookout for something to replace my "The Daily" but it seems to be a mega-job!!
