CS4 and Raw images

I Have just installed CS4 extended version and I download all my raw images to Bridge. I work on them as Raw images then attempt to upload to Photoshop for tweaking. Unfortunately they go straight back into Bridge then I have to do an open with. Am I missing out on something. Is there a preference to put them straight into Photoshop when I hit the Open image button?
I'm sure someone has the answer.

You need the Camera Raw update.
