Sadly I still can't get hold of any daffs - they are in the shops but tight buds. Instead I offer some Narcissi - not this years alas but at least they're wet so closer to the theme of the tutorial!
I posted my attempt in the general gallery as I am not an e2 member.

Sorry about using a rose instead of Daffs but it is the Autumn here and Daffs are a bit hard to find.
I enjoyed the following the tutorial and am looking forward to the rest of the month.
This must be something to do with age I guess, but it took me six pages to arrive here! There must be a simpler way for the U3A folks...

I took some shots today of all the Daffs in the park now they are in full bloom.
I took this yesterday, a bit late for St Davids day I know, but after the advise given I had to try something little bit different. Hope you all like
Not exactly my best daff shots but I like the wee beasties.....
the daffs are only just out over here!!!!!
ok heres my upload for daffs this week was a good week for weather and the odd daff, i used a 70-200m f2.8 is usm ii lens on the canon 7d and went for a focal look hope you like.
its a long running joke between me and a friend about daffs and was so giddy when you posted the link for daff picture heres mine taken today but instead of the bog standed daff picture i inverted the pictures and now the daff heads look like butterflys taken handheld with a olympus e3 and a sigma 10-20 mm
