Today we want to see shots of lambs.

Don't forget there's a Samsung Memory Card up for grabs for the person who posts the best shot.

If you're new to Photo Month you can find out more about it in the what is Photo Month forum.

Sorry no lambs locally - lots of calves but no lambs, so I've put a couple of adults on.

I spotted this one pestering its mother, as per normal Lamb behaviour. It worked and she got up to allow it to suckle

There is a shortage of real life lambs in Liverpool but we do have Superlambanana! It is intended to be a cross between a banana and a lamb and was created by Manhattan-based Japanese artist Taro Chiezo. The sculpture is both a comment on the dangers of genetic engineering and also heavily influenced by the history of Liverpool: historically both sheep and bananas were common cargos in the city's docks.
The original Superlambana stands 17 ft high and weighs 8 tons but in 2008, as part of the Capital of Culture Year, there were dozens of miniatures created, individually decorated, and located at various points across the city. This one stood outside a local brewery.
