I bought my daughter a Polaroid 600 camera with 6 packs of film (outdated by about a decade) for her 3rd birthday this week. Great fun and completely random, which perhaps is half the fun. It's still magic 40 (ish) years on...........

Have you seen that a company has relaunched Polaroid film? They have options for the 600 camera and available in US pricing too. Our news story was here Polaroid-600-PX-600-film

I saw that Pete. A guy at the Camera Store showed me some a couple of weeks ago, but he was showing me old Polaroid stock which had been shelf life extended and dressed up in a shiny new slip cover. Not that it bothers me, just interesting. I'm looking forward to buying my daughter some mono film so that she (I) can try it out. Tongue
I'd honestly forgotten what fun these things are. We've had a great couple of days with one.

A couple of years ago one of the girls at work bought all of the store's old Polaroid film stock. I haven't seen her in awhile, but I'll talk to an ex colleague, see if she wants to part with it. Maybe she'll give it to me for the money she owes me for a lens.Smile I have an old Kodak instant camera; I wonder if the film is still available.

    That's a Kodak EK6, had to run and check.Grin
