For the 11th we're getting arty with our images. We want to see some artistic shots of wildlife and if you need some inspiration take a look at Cheryl Surry's article. Then e2 members can put their images in this forum while our free members can showcase them in the gallery.

A cloud of tiny backlit flies, forest background, Nikon VR 80-400mm at 400mm, 15 sec, f22.
I was shooting the damselfly in the foreground, using the Nikon SB 600. Another damselfly was coming toward me when I shot the frame. It was 1/100 sec at f8.
Correction on the first image, it was 1/15 sec, not 15 sec.

A Male and Female Chaffinch captured with a slower shutter speed.

Have to say that when I wrote the piece I did point Nik at these two images and I know she was going to try to contact the members to use their images as an illustration since they better reflect what I had in mind.
So hopefully they won't mind me linking to them here.
