Today we want to see your shots of kitesurfers out on the sea or on the beach preparing their kit for the water.

If you're new to Photo Month you can find out more about it in the what is Photo Month forum.

We have a lot down here in Christchurch

Here's a different view of a Kitesurfer, from memory he was in the middle of a trick but he could have been losing his board.

Shot using a canon 400 f5.6 L with canon 40D, the image is about 50% of full frame, cropped to lose empty sky.

A shame no one else is posting here yet, so I will add another. At certain times of the year we can get out onto a shingle spit and have the Kitesurfers pass overhead - like so

The second one would make a great advert for 'aboards'! Wink

I've got literally hundreds of the blooming things, them and surfers and sailboarders and paddleboarders (you get the idea!)

but I promise I won't bore you all with them Grin .

Its not my fault, I'm only 5 minutes away from several good beaches for this type of action and it has to be done

    Thank you! Smile

I would have had a go, but living in Mid Devon (as far from the sea as you can get, it's not something I've ever watched/seen!) Grin

This was my first attempt, (also my first visit to the seaside this year!), and it was a dismal day, so not quite the amazing images you other guys have got.

As the brief asked for some kit shots I thought I'd put this one up (I just can't keep a way - so many shots - so little time to show them! Smile ) I've watched them spend hours setting up and taking down for only 30 minutes action - strange sport.
