Today we are looking at castles so show us your ruined hill forts, beautifully preserved country houses and any other types of shot you've taken while visiting these majestic architectural delights.

Lets be the first then. Also first time at doing this.
Swansea Castle in front of the BT Tower Block in Swansea City. B&W with High Contrast.
Dunluce Castle, Co Antrim
Llansteffan & Laugharne Castles in West Wales. Both taken on the same day.
A few shots of Caerlaverock Castle near Dumfries in SW Scotland. All were taken a few summers ago but hopefully these will encourage some photographers to visit as it's a lovely (triangular!) castle ruin with an interesting courtyard interior preserved enough to walk around and the colour of the red sandstone looks quite stunning in the right light. It's owned by Historic Scotland and I know re-enactments have been held here in the past.
Longtown Castle, Herefordshire.
Blackness Castle, Scotland
Craigmillar Castle, Edinburgh - one of my favourites
Bodiam Castle, East Sussex
Another from Bodiam Castle, this time from the "inside" so-to-speak
