Here's something you don't see every day . . .



It's a Field Marshall Series 3 with a 5½ litre (5,500cc.) single cylinder 2 stroke diesel engine.



To start it a lighted taper is inserted (somewhere!) in the cylinder head, then it's turned over using a very large starting handle or a cartridge similar to a 12 bore but without the shot!

Taken a couple of minutes ago from my back garden.



They will get a lot closer soon so my flash is prepared as the light is fading and Im hoping for a really close shot as the come within metres from my garden

It used to take three days, one to plough, one to harrow and one to drill the seed. Not it just takes the one.
