Prefer to shoot wonderful horses and other stuff, but the timing was right on this photo essay.
Noticed smoke at 4:47 PM on Jan 8th, 2012. Turned the corner to see that Ideal Farms hay barn was engulfed in flames. In a very few minutes it was gone.

This shot shows Joan Castimore, one of the owners of Ideal Farms in Frankford, NJ, hopping the fence while the hay barn burns down. All the horses were safe at the far corner of the paddock with neighboring horse owners keeping them calm. No injuries to humans or horses, only an "circa 1890" barn and 200,000 pounds of hay 200 round bales of 1,000 pounds each were stored for the year, went up in flames. No foul play is suspected at this time, but ower reports it was an electrical wiring spark.
