Quote:Women can be very critical about their appearance which can make them difficult to photograph. However, with the right poses, lighting and direction you can produce a selection of shots they'll think look fab.

LOL was this written in the fifties? Maybe these images are appropriate?

I'm sorry Boyd but this is not the right place for what you have posted.

I am all in favour of having a laugh and a joke but there is a time and place for it. This Forum is an attempt by the Team to get members taking pictures and to try something they haven't done before. You have probably killed off this particular thread before it has even started.

I find it very sad that a few members use the forums for fun - especially when someone asks a serious question only to see it hijacked by the Forum luvvies who see it as a chance to voice their usual silly and banal remarks.

I shall find a picture to post here later in the day and I hope others don't see it as a joke thread either.

@Dogsbody. I see your point but don't you think a PM would have been more courtious. It is a harsh attack and although I think the forums do go a bit silly ( I include myself), your outburst is also unpleasant.

There are times when something needs to be said and I have never shied away from saying what I feel. A PM would not have been the right course of action here as it would reach only one person and my remarks were intended for a wider audience.

I have no wish to cause offence but lets laugh when we should and be serious when we should. This was not the place to be frivolous.

Another stab in the back of life.

There is always drudgery, work and debt to fall back on.

Happy snapping to all those of which I am beneath.

On behalf of all those who dare to be different. Wink

Clean away Ken.
Sorry for offending your sensibilities Dogsbody but I'm not very good at knowing when we should laugh and when we should be serious. I'm also unaware of who these Forum luvvies are.

@Boyd. I thought your post was valid. The advice could have been taken from a 1950's book and seemed patronising. Perhaps too many piccys though. Wink

Got to go to work now. Bye bye.

I find it hard to believe that anyone could really think that.
Life, and Epz., would be a dreary place if we all felt that way.

@Boyd.
I missed your post unfortunately, which is a shame, from the sound of it.
A lot of people on here take life far too seriously in my opinion.
It seems we can no longer even decide what we perceive as being funny, or otherwise, without instruction.

Jester.

I saved a few of them off for safekeeping - cringing though attitudes at that time were I still found the adverts amusing. I'd have been an abysmal 50s wife - or at any time for that matter......
