In view of what's happened, that sounds like a good idea Alison.
I wish I could have seen them and been able to make up my own mind.

The humour's fine, we just have to be careful of copyright issues.
People will have different views on what's right and wrong in a thread, what's a joke and what's more sarcastic, what's bullying and what's just banter. Those sorts of things cause most upset.
Boyd has a point about the way the article is written, but so does db in saying that epz is trying everything to encourage good forum content and photography and comments like this could harm that. It's all a balance and that balance always seems to be brought to a point thinner than a gyroscope tip! The forums of old had a mix of technical, with a blend of humour, advice, banter. Everyone seemed to get on and the point of balance was much wider. There's no reason why we can't have that is there?

Oh just google something like "vintage 50s advertisments women" and you'll get the idea......

Anyway I think we should take Roy's lead and get back on track - the only woman I have to photograph is me and my bags and bandages give a fair indication of how self-critical I can be! I'll see if I can come up with something this evening......

Can this thread be started again please? I want to post some pics (love the pics you've posted on here kaybee) but the thread has turned into the usual **** throwing contest that seems to be the norm on EPZ these days and it's a shame. The other pic post threads have been really successful and i've really enjoyed them.

Anyhow, here's mine. I haven't done any studio work for at least 25 years so this is an old one.

I love that second one of mel, she looks a little severe in the first one. Just gorgeous; yet very natural as well.

Boyd was just coming out of his shell, too. Shame.

This is Nichole...she hadn't done much modelling and I'm not sure it's something she's continued doing.
I went for a close shot and used two softboxed lights one at each side
