    I love tilt and shift photography. I hired the Nikon 24mm lens out for a week and loved it. I know the way to make photo shop look like a tilt and shift image, but it's just not the same as using the real thing! If my numbers ever come up on the lottery, I will be buying a tilt and shift lens!

    I have noticed though using my Nikon 50mm 1.4D, by using a small depth of field/ aperture setting and manual focusing, you can achieve a tilt and shift like photo!

    This thread Should really be titled 'Tilt Photography' because the shift bit of these lenses has bugger all to do with the effect in the tutorial...

    So, just to be obtuse... the photo below, of the Barbican in London, has a fairly extreme amount of shift, with the Canon TS-E 17mm.

    What a weird effect you get on the right hand corner when you scroll up and down
