Spoilt for choice this year
A dinner-plate sized one from the garden,messed with a bit
I was wanting to achieve an arty poppy shot so used my 80-400 straight into the fading evening sun. I love the way the hairs on the stems stand out. I was wide open to blur the background and added a soft vignette in P.S.
One from the garden taken yesterday, with an added insect just for good measure!

Fluffy bunnies and Poppies , aaaargh. Good theme though.

I'm still waiting for my big red poppies to appear - plenty of buds, just no action yet. I have however been photographing these this afternoon - I think I need to try again......
