I've just heard on the radio Gerald the Giraffe is going back in Exeter Museum 
Anyone who went to Exeter Museum must remember Gerald! He was a huge, adult, stuffed Giraffe! He had a tall room all to himself and a balcony you could walk around to look him in the eye.
Well two years ago the museum closed for refurbishment and Gerald was air lifted (by crane) out through the roof. Today he is being air lifted back through the roof to his new home! They practised yesterday with an Elephant!
I'd love to go and watch, but I'm simply too busy. I think if the press, television cover it they will go to the top floor of the multi storey car park in the Guildhall. The east end overlooks the museum! 
(They haven't publicised the time because they don't want crowds of people watching)
Actually I think I do remember that giraffe - but that was so long ago -
