Do I take camera?

Hi guy's, I am off to Birmingham for 2 days on a coarse with work. I will be finished at 4pm and I am staying at Edgebasten. My question is do I take my camera or not. Also where and what is there thats worth getting a shot of eg night shots, architecture etc.

Not sure about locations of interest in that area, But there has to be something......

But as regards taking your camera, Sods law says that if you do not, You will probably wish that you had.....

Well thats the principle I generally work by......

No question you should take it. Actually probably no better time to take it. You'll be bored out of your face in the evening and you can just take a stroll around and see what bites. Bring the tripod too.

As a local I can guarantee there's plenty to take photos of. Just get yourself on a bus ride (45, 47, 61, 62, 63 only ten minutes or so from the cricket ground) into the City Centre. There's the Bull Ring, Victoria Square at the top end of New Street, Centenary Square leading to the canal basin/Brindley Place at the end of Broad Street...

You'll kick yourself if you don't.

Edit: You won't be able to use a camera INSIDE the Bull Ring arcades as it's private property and they'll have big lads in hi-viz jackets with nothing better to do than watch out for photographers.
