Just a thought: I know that things get lively here and maybe stuff gets said that wouldn't be in a face to face situation but..
When switching off epz do you brood about it? Does it affect your RL in anyway (emotionally I mean)? Or do you manage to switch yourself off epz with the computer?

The computer only gets switched of for holidays, otherwise it's on 24/7.
Whatever happens on here has no effect on my personal life.
No matter what anyone says on ePz.
No point in sulking about things that are often said in the heat of the moment.
I think most of the time it is just some peoples way of releasing stress.

I personally like the Australian small town approach to stress counselling.
Get pissed.
Go to pub.
Tell everyone your problem.
Get the piss ripped out of you.
Fall over.
Throw up.
Next morning everyone knows - no more problem.

No. Never take it too seriously - it's just words on a screen. Over the three years I've been a member, just a couple of times I've been upset by something but my way is to contact people concerned off site and make sure I haven't just misunderstood them (and that's been the case). One particular problem I had with someone led me to discuss it with a couple of epz mates and discovered over time that everyone else thought this person was a complete *rse too. So that was helpful!
So, three occasions in three years? Not worth getting worried over. If I read something which riles me up I just go and make a cuppa and think of things like the Horse nebula - puts things into perspective
