Have to admit that my Bronica ETSR from 1984 does look a bit dated..... but the batteries lasted for a couple of years, whereas with my digital camera, on cold days like today, just an afternoon Sad

No, my camera doen't look dated. Smile

What I mean is, digital cameras aren't old enough, but I don't think iin terms of dated anyway.
If you can use it, its not dated.

Possible exception, Sony Mavica with floppy drive, but I thought they were strange when they were new.

My X100 looks kind of dated ... looks lovely ... wouldnt have it any other way.

My roller skates (or quads as they are so quaintly referred to) apparently look dated but they perform well for me, I think the term now is not dated but retro Wink same with my camera really Grin

Does my camera look dated? Ummm I don't know. It looks very much like the one I had before, and the one before that. I never look at anyone else's camera to see what make/how new/shiny/dated/etc it is. Does anyone care as long as it delivers the goods?

How so does a 20D look dated anyway? If I remember correctly it looked much the same as my curent camera only a bit smaller...

    LOL....Grin

Just dipped my paw into a box where the film cameras live ( Trust me its very cozy ) pulled out an OM10 Quartz all black model, Does it look dated....MMMmmm Nope!

In fact it looks more modern than some of these newer " Retro Look A Like " items, Its certainly better made, Still works too.....Smile

Another rumage in the box produced a Nikon F70, That could pass for a digital camera ( If it had a telly on the back Grin ) because it has an LCD top panel, The Yash TLR does look a little older now, But thats purely the shape, The 35mm SLR format seems to have changed very little since it first appeared.....Grin

Hence if it ain't broke, Don't fix it......If it works, It works no matter what it looks like.
