I have seen this a few times now in comments, under pictures, to me this line should only be used if the portfolio has something in it to do with the picture that the comment is under, or will help in some way, not just an add for peoples portfolios.

Is this just me?

Saw a similar thing last night. Lots of comments by a new user, all the same, saying "Nice photo. You may be interested in my XYZ shot" or something similar.

Fishermen are out in force at the moment.

I remember someone doing this to me on photosig, obviously looking for critique points and trying to 'play the game' on there.

Was he sorry he asked

Not only did I say what I saw but everyone who commented on my original photo also commented.

Think he deleted the pic in the end.

I think he learned not to post.

They tend to call a spade a spade on photosig or completely s**t photo as someone put it.

One particularly un-PC comment said it was good that the colourblind were taking an interest in photography.
