    Does anyone know of a good place in the Lake District to photograph dragonflies.? Smile

    Coniston Water (but I am sure many of the lakes have them). You'll find them in the reedy, swampy corners.

    Difficult to photography as they tend to be very "darty".

    Good luck.

    I'm taking my caravan down to Grange over Sands tomorrow, so might look for some myself (if the rain goes off!)

    btw - a lot of the "dragonflies" you see will be damselflies. Equally spectacular to photograph.
