Morning all, I'm looking for some techy advice.
I am going to put a second HD in my computer which is running windows 7, the HD I want to put in has Vista on it. Do I need to format the second drive before installation, or can I format it once it's installed in the PC?

As long as you set the second HD to be a secondary drive and not the main drive you can format it once it is in and your machine has booted up.

PC appears to be running ok and the drive (E) shows up in the disc management box as 'healthy'. So I'm assuming all is fine.
