Hi all,

I was able to make a DVD readable slide show with music many years ago using photoshop elements. This presentation was great for smaller 4:3 format on a 32 inch screen but things have moved on. I need to do a similar presentation for a widescreen tv but 50 inch. I tried the photoshop again however the pixel output is in the 300-400 region which I think is too low. Any suggestions.
I have lightroom 2 and an imac if that helps.

available in XP and Vista, maybe others is windows movie maker...free...does a decent job, music, transitions, effects etc. Uses large files d300s in my case as is which reproduce full screen on a 42" plasma. When your slide show is done and you go to publish it, select DVD and an automatic save switch to DVD maker occurs. Follow instructions, end result is quite decent. I also have premier elements , but usually don't bother for the most part. Windows movie maker does a good job.
