We have just announced in news the biggest thing weve done since the launch of ePHOTOzine, four years ago. At last, you can have bigger pictures, more requested features and some new stuff thrown in. We asked in the polls what you would like if we launched a new area, and here it is. We proudly present e2!
Its our solution to some of the problems youve been facing.
Its been on the drawing board for over two years, but a few set backs made it impossible to start developing until a couple of months ago and its now ready!
You are no longer restricted to 500 pixel photos. e2 lets you upload 1000 pixel photos, and all ePHOTOzine visitors can then click to view a larger version or, for those with slower connections, continue to browse the more manageable 500 pixel versions.
You can create a showcase of your pictures, so your portfolio stands out from the crowd and redesign it with ease when you want.
You can use the notification manager to send you emails when someone adds to a gallery of forum comment and turn these off quickly.
You can see who likes your photos and view the most liked and least liked.
And you can get visual help on your photos by allowing other more experienced members to modify and post back suggestions and improved versions.
These and many new features added or coming soon will make e2 a MUST HAVE option.
And to kick start the club, we have an opening offer of just 19 for exclusive membership. To find out more take a look at this page.
Please also note that this does not mean that the regular areas of ePHOTOzine will suffereverything youve been able to do for free will continue and we have many plans to add new features to the general areas of the site too.
The e2 development has made many changes to the way the gallery works and these are now working in the standard gallery, so you should see faster reloads and a better performance.
We shouldnt have to justify the cost, which obviously some may feel is high, but consider this: if youve enjoyed using ePHOTOzine while being a member, consider how much thats been worth. Even at the non offer price of 29, its less than 60p per week! Mars bar, bottle of milk, one newspaper, two cigarettes, pint of beeror one full week of madcap laughter, ego boosting gallery praise, friendly banter on forums, meeting members and getting out and about, competing in competitions etc on ePHOTOzine?
Theres no comparison go on, join now, you know you want to![]()

Just one thought Pete. It would be worth putting a brief tutorial on use of the new features.
