Some members have expressed doubts about the value of e2 membership so I thought I would start a thread where people can say what they would like e2 membership to offer, which it doesn't at present.

I will start! I'd like to see the limit on messages in the PM inbox removed for e2 members. If total removal is not possible, then the limit should be raised to at least 50 or preferably 100.

OK - any other ideas? Smile

The ability to remove/hide the hearts etc and just have comments with no RC's or hearts.

The ability to sort your portfolio into albums... to tidy things up a little.

That would be most welcome! That would immediately jump to being the biggest incentive for joining e2.

As for me, I'd like to see more statistics. Other than that I can't think of anything.

Probably one of the most requested features, and one that I'd consider joining for is a Carabosse blocking filter.

ROTFLMAO!!!

EDIT: Do agree with CB's idea though. Gets my vote.

Oh dear, I think Will is worried about his workload!

Not to worry - give it to Tom: he'll get it all done pronto!! Grin

Nearly all of my suggestions have ended up getting implemented: that's what worries Will! Grin

Having the large upload opened up automatically.

More felexible uploading, for example 7 per week regardless of when.

A proper Showcase with definable folders.

Albums/sorting in the portfolio sounds like a good idea to me too - thanks CB.

As for PMs, I've never sent or received a single one yet, so I couldn't care less about any limits! (Sad, isn't it?)

He can be irritating, it's true, but ePHOTOzine without Carabosse would be a very different place. (And yes, I realise that's a rather ambiguous comment!) Wink

I think Tom's just putting the finishing touches to the blocking filter as I type. ;D

Wahey! It's working! CB hasn't made a post here in the last 10 minutes. Must be a record! Well done Tom and keep up the good work. Thanks.

Do you recommend Lee, or Cokin?

Lee, of course. You need that hand-made quality to make sure the more sneakily-worded posts don't get through and inflict a purplish cast on the whole thread... Wink
