I am thinking of getting this, is it any good, I can't find many reviews?
I need it to be light enough to take places.
Thanks in advance ![]()

I have the M series lighting kit and lug that around, the b series is far more managable. If you live anywhere near bedfordshire Danny at elemental is brilliantly helpful, he would be more than happy for you to go down a see the kit before purchasing. His aftersales is awesome aswell, any problems call him and he will have it delt with. Dont quote me but i think all equipment has a 18 month guarantee instead of the usual 12, so a little bit of extra piece of mind.
I for one have been really happy with the kit from Elemental and would highly recommend it. But most definatly call the office and speak to Danny.
Good Luck

I've just bought THIS kit and no way would I want to lug that around on a bus. A car would be another matter as the bag it comes in is excellent.
I plan to answer another thread at some point this weekend once I've had the opportunity to use the lights a bit more - so far I've just been using the snoot non-stop.
Also check out THIS short thread which gives the reason why I didn't go for the B series.....
I Have the M600 kit from elemental Danny was brilliant sorting it out for me and I have had a few shoots where I have hammered them for 8 hours without a single problem it is portable but I wouldn't want to carry it to far.
Its a solid kit even the stands are well built may I add and it could just be me having a little bad luck but my Interfit kit I had before fell to pieces with half the usage.
Keep an eye out for the studio meets at elemental from this site there is one in Feb (I think it may be full) you can have a good play with them before you buy, if you just go for it you wont be disappointed.
Hope this helps
