I have recently acquired a copy of Elements 2, and have been using a book by Philip Andrews to help me get started. Although it is comprehensive on the basics, and quite helpful, it stops short of any depth on some of the features.
I have seen a second book of his, which is Advanced Elements - does anyone use it, or know what it covers? Does it relate to a particular version of the software. I can't find details about it, other than how to buy it!
    Thanks
    Katie
(oh, any other suggestions for guides welcome)

Here's a good place to start.

Just ignore the ones written by Pete - he's only mastered cropping so far :o)

Yes, yes, yes - I've read those ...

Boyd you're starting to sound like The Great Bargh himself! Anyone would think it's his website!!

I thought The Great Bargh only did CS stuff for the big boys.

Here are some reviews of the book you mentioned.

Sorry about the ePz link...I forgot I'm supposed to be Pete's nemesis.

    Thanks, Boydy-baby.

I googled for "Bargh Elements" - it didn't get me what I wanted, but the results were fascinating, nevertheless!!
Good job I'm on leave and not in work! LOL

I've got 'The Digital Photographer's Guide to Photoshop Elements' by Barry Beckham. Very useful starting at the basics and moving on a little. Excellent colour photos and step by step guides to most things you need to know. Also have 'The Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 2' by Richard Lynch which gives you a disc with extra tools, yet to read this.
