Hi pappillon,
I have just bought the 550D a few weeks ago and am very pleased with it. I am using it with the kit lens at the moment but it is very sharp with everything I have shot so far.
Previously, I had an Olympus which I was sad to sell but as they don't seem to be moving on very fast I decided to change camps.
