Hi, I am considering getting a EOS 7D soon but cannot confirm that CS5 supports this camera. Canon say I should contact Adobe and Adobe are their usual unhelpful self neither confirming or denying only directing me to sites that give vague answers. I know that I can convert to DNG files as this is what I had to do when using CS3 with my current EOS 40 D.
Is there anybody out there who can give me a definite answer. Thanks Tony

Yes it does - no problems with the .CR2 files straight from the camera

To be fair Adobe publish lists of which cameras each product (and ACR update as new cameras are released )supports

I have found that Lightroom (and ACR is just the same as far as RAW compatibility is concerned) issue updates within days of new cameras by major manufacturers being released - certainly well before they are available retail in UK.

In whatever RAW software you use, simply go to the "Help" tab and click on "Check for Updates" and it should download and install the latest update automatically. No need to go searching on Adobe websites.
