    I have tried to print an image...i have set my printer up through print preferences...i use epson printer,ink and paper.....when i press print the paper goes through the printer very, very quicky in about 11 movements of the print head...and the colours are also very very pale....should i choose let printer priner mage colurs or photoshop....help please !!

    What printer is it, how old, have you done a nozzle check ?
    What size paper, list your print settings.

    You should choose Let Photoshop manage colours

    It is the epson R2400 ...2 yrs old and set to
    Best Photo
    Photo Enhance
    Archival matte Paper
    Ive done nozzle check etc..

    Printer Profile :
    Working RGB-sRGB IEC 61966-2.1
    relative colorimetric
    Black point compensation

    As suggested you should select no olour control in the printer box, select ps handles colours in ps and choose the correct paper profile.

    I have a 2400 so can check your settings.
