Lately EPZ freezes on me several times a day; the only site that does that. Nothing responds to clicking except the start icon (bottom left) that I then use to start up again.
There was a message that this was caused by Adobe Flash Player, and true enough, when I removed this, the site ran smoothly. The only problem was that Youtube didn't function anymore, so I had to put it back, and the freezing started again too.
Does anyone have the same problem, and does anyone have a solution for this? (I use Vista b.t.w.)

Perhaps it's some kind of wierd EPZ experiment. Others will start coming out of the woodwork slowly.

Hi Rende,
Lots of people seem to be having similar problems with EPZ, myself included.
Have a look at the forum entitled 'Slow computer (mostly EPZ).'
It's just down the page from this one.
No-one seems to know what's wrong.
Bren.

Thanks Bren,
I thought that maybe the fact that Adobe Flash Player was involved would be a hint to the people who really know about these things, but apparently the mystery hasn't been solved yet Wink
I'll go through that thread too.

After a recent freeze of IE Microsoft advised that it was a problem with Flash Player and recommended that downloading the latest version of Flash Player might cure the problem.

However, still get the occassional freeze.

(must be the weather LOL!)

Yes Jas, I did that too, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I guess we'll have to wait till Spring Wink

We did have a problem with one of the Ads, but this has been resolved.
If you are experiencing slow downs or freezes please submit a report so the guys can take a look into it.

I've noticed that frequently when pages take ages to load it's coz the browser is waiting for w.sharethis.com - a "facility" I have no need nor desire for. I rarely see delays that I can definitely pinpoint as being the ePz servers.
I've just added the sharethis URL to my hosts file local IP address and pages load a lot quicker now Wink

I'm getting a lot of hanging pages and freezes too. Particularly if I start mining the gallery and going twenty or thirty pages in. Occasionally get it with the forum.

I'm on Firefox.

I thought it was me as my Broadband connection isn't the greatest at the best of times living where I do,seems I'm not on my own though.
I will submit a report.

Strange, this has just happened to me - page froze and nothing worked except the indows Start Button.

Have just re-booted. I thought it was me as I have just upgraded the memory.

However, see how it goes.
