Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce the arrival of Nikon Nation on ePHOTOzine!

If you're a Nikon user, you don't want to miss out on visiting Nikon Nation; in this new area you can read reviews on Nikon cameras, chat with other Nikon owners and upload your photos specifically taken with your Nikon camera.

You'll also find photography tips, information on Nikon training.
Plus, you can receive an exclusive 10% off Nikon training and enter a monthly prize draw for the chance to win a 50mm f1.4 NIKKOR lens!

So what are you waiting for? If you're a Nikon owner, or just curious to see what it's all about, visit Nikon Nation now!

We hope you like it and welcome your feedback.

Thanks,
Tracey

I guess epz has a new sponsor.

Are other manufacturers going to get their own area, eg. Canon Contry, Pentax Place, etc, or will we soon see a rebranding to eNIKONzine?

Lol!

Nikon have been on site since day one - we're just doing something different this year to create more of a Nikon community.

Sure is a good idea, Especially for those who want to see the output from Nikon cameras.

But I don't think comparing shots from one model to the next will neccesarily show how good or not so good a camera is......Sad

Because as we all know perfectly well, Its the photographer who takes the shot, Then hauls it through some software or other to produce the finished article.....Smile

Having a brand corner is not a bad idea, So long as we don't go " Tribal " ......Grin

Wink

Oh Nikon, do they make cameras too??? Tongue Great idea EPZ look forward to taking a peek and hopefully the Canon one won't be too far behind.

A new approach . . . well, I am not a Nikon user, so you have lost me there. I realise advertising has a large part to play with websites, but I thought photography sites such as this one were meant to be neutral. To post something in the forums is a bit crass, I think. Just my opinion. As some have pointed out, it should be rebranded eNikonzine or something like that. Would be interesting to see what Nikon thinks of my opinion, but being a 'valued advertiser' they are probably kept well away from free discussions such as these!
(PS: I have nothing against Nikon, just ephotozine's blatant 'currying favour' attitude).

PPS: I have a Nikon compact, if it helps. But my hard workhorse stuff comes from another stable . . . have been with the other one for 30 years.

I really don't understand this argument. It's not as if ePz has closed and 'Nikon Nation' has taken its place. NN is just another branch of the site, just like ePz TV, you either find something there that interests you, or you don't and you move on to a part of the site that does hold your interest.

It's a positive step toward growth, why knock it?
