As Cole's C&C thread has started up again, I thought I'd start something similar.
Like Cole's thread, you look at the portfolio of the person before you in the thread.
But rather than comment on what's good/missing, comment on what the images tell you about the person who took them - look back over several pages, maybe look back 30 pages and see what they were doing years ago....
When you've done that, do a bit of amateur psychology and comment on what you see - here's a few key words to get you started...
Artist or recordist
scatter gun or dogged persistence
creative ?
technician ?
perfectionist ?
open minded ?
happy or sad ?
adventurous ?
Cliche or carving their own groove?
.
.
.
.
there's a few to be going on with
And I guess the first person who's i the firing line would be... err.... me!
Think this could be quite interesting if people take a bit of time over it ![]()
Quote: Risky doing this lol
oh yes indeedy, keeps it interesting.. - pretty accurate analysis too
I'd analyse your portfolio, but I just did the C&C thread on it - you want some variety
Roll up Roll up - someone "do" Paul ![]()
What's the point of this. Why can't we just sit back and enjoy (or not depending on your point of view) other photographers photo's. Why do we have to be analytical about this and does it really matter. Where is this conversation going?

Just for fun?

Nobody's stopping you.

Don't have to if you don't want to and probably not.

I can guess.

Good idea Ade. Colin if you prefer the fun side of epz don't get involved in these threads they're here for people who want to to get involved in more interesting debate about their photography. It's a free site. Don't put dampers on new ideas just because it's not for you.
I'll not say what I'm thinking re. cols remarks. I guess you can imagine it and it's not pleasant.
And cheers to the rest of you for the support by the way...
The idea of this is to get an outsider's view on your work - feedback from your peers, not of just one image, but of your EPZ collection.
Are you seen by the membership in the light you'd aimed at, or does your photography give a totally different impression than you'd expected...
I think it could be enlightening for those interested - for those who are not, I just wish they'd have the courtesy to just "not join in". It's not hard...
OK, here goes...
and **** the begrudgers

Open minded with a quirky sense of humor, passionate about certain things but also wary of being "labelled". Restless, always looking for new interest, prone to depressive/moody periods but fights and rises against it.
that's my 2c but i ain't no Frasier Crane ![]()
Stephen
....guys - I know it should be obvious who you're doing because they're supposed be the one directly above you, it's got a bit out of synch... so could you add the name to your "analysis" so we're sure.
Just I've no idea who Daffy is on about and not entirely sure with Stephen... is it Pablo or me?
Thanks Dorchas..I used to post details and tend to if i do something different occasionally. I think Imight post my general workflow on my about page - I used to..
Quote: Artist, possibly a perfectionist, always learning, loves colour and the sea
hmm yes, though perfectionist only to my own agenda I'd say ![]()
@Ade..mine was about Pablo, the one below you but above the "hijack"...what do you think Pablo?
and so, who now about Fotodayz/Dorchas??
