Yay indeed! Had yet another of these big sods roar up behind me on the way home from work this week. It was dark and out in the sticks so the prospect of having blinding headlights a few feet off the rear bumper didn't exactly excite.

Last of the "great" british car companies. Will we have anything in manufacturing left?

I'm finding it's increasingly the 'haven't quite arrived yet' class in Audi & BMW Chelsea tractors who try this on these days..then they find out that Honda Civics are quicker than they thought..

I agree, and with any type of late reg Audi really. It's something that's got gradually worse in recent years - needless agression and general 'I rule the road' mentality. Someone once told me that if you drive a diesel and one of these characters tucks up your a*se, if you drop a gear and floor the throttle, something smelly and unpleasant will occur. Can't think what that might be Smile

Unfortunately I think that's a cloud of smoke from a poorly serviced diesel motor..!!

My oldest daughter went to a private school (shock..horror but at least they did 'reading out loud' twice a day instead of once a week...)
On bonfire night (arranged display..) those I call 'haven't quite arrived yet' would be there with pink wellies, loud voices, BMWs etc whereas those who'd really 'arrived' turned up in old shabby macs and a beaten-up old Discovery, no airs and graces and would talk to even us 'low-life'...
But yes, I agree some Audi drivers have now become the new BMW arrogant git class..!

Must have been some time ago, since modern diesels are properly clean and the MOT emissions test has been tightened up over recent years as well. I've got a diesel car and a petrol one and I'd breathe in the diesel exhaust before I'd breathe in the petrol one any time! Smile

Not just Audi, more like most of the VAG group. I find many Passat drivers seem to think they are Audi drivers-in-training.

Death to all tail gaters! The thing I hate worst on the road. I don't hog the road but If I'm doing the speed limit and so is everybody in front, why the **** do they think that tucking up behind my rear bumper is going to get them anywhere. Me, it just makes me slow down til I'm going at just an annoying amount less than the speed limit and let them stew. . .
