Hi all,

Thanks for all the support throughout the International Garden Photographer of the Year photography competition results. I got an e-mail today linking me to this page of the eight finalists... I tried my best remember and I can't win everything.

Here is the link













So... Yippeee!!! I won the whole category for the young section which I think means that my picture is going to be hung up in Kew Gardens from 1st of May

If that is the case then it will be very impressive.

The exhibition of the previous year's competition has recently finished at Wakehurst Place and the standard was very high & the quality just so good

During the months it was on I detoured past it every visit. ( at least once a week except during the snow when it was closed)

If it comes comes again later this year I will keep a look out for your shot

Thanks guys - Jeff I think thats the case - I have to finalise it. Do you remember how many young persons pictures were hung up? Were there 8?

All I would like to know is if the young category winners get their images put up at the gardens... I appreciate that you only have limited knowledge, and I have emailed the staff there.

I thought that out of the "Finalists" from each category they also picked an "Overall" winner, hence my comments above.

Best you check it out for yourself from the organisers.
