I never liked the music of ABC, more so the singer Martin Fry, back in the 80's, when they appeared on TV - either singing or in interview.
In the late 80's, Martin Fry came and introduced himself to me at a party, and he turned out to be a really genuine guy,
in that he was both interested and interesting.
Re Jimmy Carr, I used to really like his material - he was really sharp.
The he adopted that ridiculous laugh in 8/10 cats, and now that's all I hear when he's on TV.
at uni I hated the smiths
I now love the smiths
I was a raver (90's terminology for "clubber") and they just didn't fit the bill
Jimmy carr is good
not so sure about ABC....
I used to really dislike Elton John . . .
. . . now I hate him intensely.
Plenty, well known actors and muscians, some I even drink with.
But I can`t name names ![]()

. . . same goes for Cliff Richard.
Quote: Now let me see - are there any politicians I dislike? Hmm................................... that's almost too easy! ![]()
No, the idea is that you did dislike people, but then you decided for whatever reason that you liked them after all.
Hm, OK, point taken CB.

Impressions of people change when you get to know them, especially if there buying ![]()
