Considering options on a good introductory studio lighting kit, I have narrowed the list down to either the Elinchrom D-Lite 2/4 or the Elemental M Series Ultra Pro Studio. Has anyone had experience of either of these?

    I have used the D-Lite 4's and 2's.

The build quality is a little flimsy, but they are easy to use and now that they are fan cooled they are extremley reliable.

They are a nice managable size too, tidy kit bags and the soft boxes are the easy to colapse down.

I use the D-lite 4 without and problems, I don't use the light stands that came with the kit as they are a little plasticy, but saying that they are ideal for starting out

    cheers
