My American partner's father died today. She, her daughter & I have got to fly out flying BA from Heathrow to Washington Dullas on Wednesday for the funeral.
Does any one if if BA still uses T4 or have all their flights gone to using the new T5?
(I hope still T4)

Sorry to hear your sad news. According to all news, Trans Atlantic flights have been departing on time and with bags so I think if you're in T5 you should be ok. Good luck !
My condolences on your sad news...
Based on what I have just heard on the 9pm Radio2 news, might I suggest you give BA a call as soon as possible to get an accurate update on the situation. The radio mentioned something about 50 flights being cancelled from T5 tomorrow...
For long haul flights BA are still using T4 and are considering not moving these to T5 until a later date
I think they are only cancelling the domestic / short haul flights.
My sympahties Chris at this horrid time x
Thanks to you all.
We tried BA this eve as we also needed to sort out tickets, etc (we've reserved the tickets already but not paid for them yet) but closed till the morning. So will call first thing tomorrow. Problem is we're having to travel from Scotland to south coast first then on to Heathrow , so finances, timing, travel is very tight. So I'm trying to get as much info before tomorrow.
Personally I would use another airline to get to Heathrow if possible. As I said earlier - I think it;s the short haul flights that are suffering
I travelled yesterday from Vancouver to terminal 5 and then onto Belfast - All timings were fine - and we travelled without delays ... BUT 2 ( out of 4 ) bag were not delivered.
If you can do hand baggage only - you will truly do yourself a favour.
and click on the flight number, it says that it`s departing T4
Thanks Cai for that info.
We're not travelling internal to Heathrow,by car instead. So that part is not a real issue. It's the issue for getting out to the US, with as little hassle as possible. As BA is the cheapest in general for direct flights to Washington Dullas it makes sense to use them.
Great many thanks Slippery Jim, I'm relieved.
Thanks every one for your help. Very much appreciated.
Happy to have been of some help to you
