Are many members of ePHOTOzine going to the NEC for the Focus on Imaging exibition on between 22-25 February.
I will be there as usual, seeing all the latest cameras and stuff. But its not to far for me to go only 40 minutes on a good day(M6)
    Maybe see you there.

I've not been before - is it worth a fairly long trip (from Dorset)?

I find it very good but as I say I only live down the road and I also get free tickets every year as I am a Proffesional.

I would have a look on their website.

If you are in the market for some new kit it is a must go event, as you speak to the manufacturers not some bimbo in a shopWink

Focus is an annual event that I would not miss. It is a very large show with trade stands from large and small photographic Company's. There are plenty of opportunity to handle new equipment and ask technical questions.
Many stands provide demonstrations of sofware or studio lighting.
You also get to meet many photographic colleagues.
Ephotozine usually have a stand there.

In my opinion it would be well worth the trip, especially if you are likely to be interested in any new equipment, be it digital, conventional or printers.

Two years ago I went to see the permajet bottle ink system, so as I knew that that was what I was going to see I took a CD with images I knew really well to see how they would print.
The guy on the stand was a bit stunned that I was that prepared but, he made the sale, I was so impressed with the system, so my advise would be GO PREPARED.

Terry, go to their website and register yourself as a Photographer for free tickets. Naughty it may be, but it would work. Or, just pay your 6 at the door. Ii think thats the price anyway.

It's an annual outing for us, usually on a Monday...buy some red carnations.

    Jeff

I'll be there on the Fuji stand.

We won't have a stand this year, but we will be there on the Sunday and probably Monday. Although we said this last year and ended up changing our mind at the last minute!

I would love to see you guys there again, but I think it clashes with PMA in Vegas, and Burmingham can't compete I'm afraid.

Although I probably won't be able to afford to buy anything I may come along on the Sunday. Any chance of complimentary tickets for ePz members Pete?

Perhaps we could all wear our ePz t-shirts and turn it in to a photo-shoot.
