As many members are aware we have started a website builder which is initially aimed at photographers called foliopic, but can actually be used for any business as it's fully customisable system.
I've just seen one of the latest customers has done just that with stationary. Check it out...a bit of lateral thinking and you may find a use for your business / side line where foliopic would be just the right product to kick start your e-commerce.

Pete .. Foliopic looks very very interesting, but I would like to keep my own web address..... is there an easy way to do this?

Yes Davei asked the same questionyesterday

If you go to the foliopic website, all will be revealed Smile

    Will do Thanks Smile

I signed up for foliopic yesterday i couldnt get domain working while i was on my trial so i paid for one month and everything worked, support is very good and fast and the sites are easy to use. very professional looking templates and wit shop blog etc gives you a good all round site at a very good price.

p.s. took me 5 mins once signed up to sort out the domain name and get it working on the site.

Just signed up to the trial, must say I'm quite impressed, if anyone interested this is my feable first attempt. There are a couple of things I've found difficult to locate. but thats probably me been a numpty. Overall I think I prefer it to the photium one I currently have as the main site. There are a few things I would loke to see, but I will play with it for a few days to make sure I havent missed anything.

looks impressive to me too. Like the strong contrast against your mono shots. Haven't gone through in depth, but looks very clear to navigate

Thanks Jeff. The main problem I had was answered last night by Pete (above and beyond the call of duty, thanks Pete).

Now all I need to do is edit all my epz comments and design a new header.

    Thanks again

    Nick

I have posted a comment on another forum relating to this.

I have downloaded the trial but am finding I cannot select and load multiple images and I find the site very slow in uploading when compared to say Photobox. I use a 10m Broadband line so I dont thinks its my end. Has anyone else had similar problem. If I can get round this I will certainly register.

No had no problems at all with multiple uploads, and my broadband speed is a pathetic 250 kb per sec.

Think the site is really easy to use, had no problems uploading anything. Slight problem changing domain over from clikpic but soon sorted out.

Ever the cheapskate, I'm having a play around with the demo, so far it looks pretty straight forward apart from the buttons to move between images in the gallery, but I'm sure I'll get this sorted,

As a complete novice at this side of things, I've been pleasantly suprised.
