    I haveinstalled a 2GB micro SD card in my wife's Samsung mobile phone.
    The manual doesn't say how to format it other than to emphasise it should be formatted using the PHONE not the computer.
    Anyone able to offer a little help please?

    do a search on google theres a piece on there saying to use a prog called snagit in a card reader

    I should have looked mre carefully in the phone menu. I have now found an item there to format the card BUT it is greyed out and inactive.Any suggestions what I need to do now ?

    there must be a click somewhere to allow it to format
