Barry - an interesting question! I've checked the code and the database queries are not cached in this section. Elsewhere, some queries are for the sake of speed of delivery. ephotozine does not directly use a proxy server to deliver/store any of its pages.

Therefore, I can only conclude that somewhere along the internet route to your computers the pages are being cached.

I have no problem with 'forum times' but I do run out of patience with 'times of forums'.
Whereas I think this website is extremely good and efficient I find it takes awhile to change forums and go back a page etc within the forum directory. Anything that can be done to speed that process up would be useful.
